WOW... Easter... this is one word that means a lot but is usually taken for granted or distorted to symbolise eggs, or worse, bunnies.
Have you ever wondered, is there more to easter than great church plays or stirring speakers??
Have you ever wondered, Jesus DIED a PAINFUL death for ME??
Have you wondered, am I still so precious to God after all I have done that he sent Jesus to die??
Often,as Christians, Good Friday and Easter have both become rituals that have numbed us to the actual meaning of Christ's sacrifice. It is important NOT to let these two dates just become just days in our calendar that we can forget. Without the true meaning of these days, the entire basis of our faith is nullified.

Blogs and Bloggers that I REALLY admire
These blogs belong to my cousins from my maternal side. My cousins are people TOTALLY sold out for God. These are my heroes when it comes to being outspoken, bold, and honest about their walk with Christ.
Here are their addresses:
Esther Wee: http://simplysther.blogspot.com/
Daphne wee: http://weedaphne.blogspot.com/
BTW, Esther and Daphne are both sisters.

After a long while...
My dad FINALLY bought the Nikkor 18-200 VR2 lens..... For those of you who are in the camera world, this lens ROCKS... The range is really handy as it mixes the two most usable lens in the world, the 18-55 wide angle and 55-200 zoom.
For all you non-camera people, this is the explanation:
Nikkor= Brand of lenses by Nikon (original, BTW)
18-200= The range of the zoom... This tells you that this lens is a mixture of the standard 18-55 and 55-200 lens.
VR2= Vibration reduction 2 (what else?)
This is exactly what is sounds like. Anti-shake. The 2 stands for second-generation... Need I be any clearer??
Anyway, I was like, WOW!! When dad showed me the lens. The design really fits into the palm of your hand....
WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW...

Parental watchfulness in the technological age...
Yes, you heard it... Parents are now resorting to online spying on their teens... Believe me, I'm a victim of this atrocity....
Well, not really. But, my mum does come to my blog to read... As a matter of fact, her blog is linked to mine (http://meltingmoments-homemadedelights.blogspot.com/) . She has probably read this already. I'm on her favourite reading list.... So, well, to all teens, please be careful about your comments... LOL

I hate tags, but alas I am bored...
1. Name one object that brings up good recollections of your very young childhood (4 years and below).
Well... I DO recall a small penguin plush toy that was given to me by MAS while en route to Seattle( first class BTW). I remember calling it " Toink-Toink" ( for whateva weird reason, I don't know...) I was quite fond of it... until I lost it quite recently..... So, yeah. that is the story of my Toink-Toink...
2. How old were you when you first started using the computer or TV?
Well... Unlike many " modern day kids", I didn't get to touch the com until about 4. And it was only educational games like jump-start. For the TV, well, there was no escaping it. However, I was only allowed to watch BARNEY!!!!! and SESAME STREET!!!!... I still remember those days... sigh
3. Did you enjoy any form of vegetables/fruits you were willing to eat when you were 4 and below, but hate now?
Nope. I don't really hate any kind of food. The only exception would be durian, but I didn't like it then, and I certainly don't like it now.
4. Were there any foods you disliked when you were young, but love now?
Definately... MUSHROOMS!!!
5. What was the first fad you had? (e.g. Transformers, animals, Barney, Bob the Builder, Star Wars, Hot Wheels)
I have fats??? LOL Jk... Anyway, I used to like lego... and more lego... and even more lego... etc.etc
6. Did you enjoy your first day at school (or kindergarten)?
NO!!!!!
7. Have you ever enjoyed reading? What was the first book you ever read by yourself (or were forced to read)?
I was force-fed peter and jane.( Sad ain't it?)
8. How heavy were you when you were just born?
A sad little 2.9 kgs...I think it reflects on my current size...
I hereby tag Tim( Sim), Chloe, Suwen, and, for the sake of randomness, JOSH KAM!!! ANYONE ELSE THAT READS THIS POST ( YES, you)

S.O.A.P ROX!!!
Yeap... You heard it... S.O.A.P devotions are really growing on me. In case you didn't know, S.O.A.P. devotions stand for:
Scripture
Observation
Application
Prayer.
So, basically, you are given a scripture to read. Then, after reading the scripture, if a particular part stands out to you, list that down in the observation part. After that, try and apply that observation into your life. List that down in the application part. After that, in the prayer, write down a prayer regarding your devotion.
Enjoy!!
