Just yesterday, I went to watch Paroimia. It was GREAT!!! The storyline was simple, but captivating. The music was intricate, exciting, and enjoyable. The dances were very well executed and the dancers were well coordinated. The dancers and actors showed great finesse in their act.
To everyone that reades this email, Paroimia is a MUST SEE.

Music Exams....
Music exams...
The feelings start the night before. Your stomach suddenly starts fluttering when you remember that the next day is THE DAY. Then, you go through the rest of the night rather numbed. Finally, you go to sleep. You feel like you need sleep, but you just can't. You toss and turn, roll and fidget. Finally, you doze off.
The next morning, you wake up and are blissfully unaware for the first five to ten minutes. Then, as your mind gets more alert, reality hits you like a bucket of ice water in your face. THE DAY HAS COME!
The day passes slowly as you contemplate your upcoming performance.
The time comes to go into the hotel where you will perform for a TRAINED professional in music.
Will I be too nervous? Will I make a mistake that ruins my piece? Will my instrument have techinical problems?
One by one, these questions run through you mind. One by one, you mentally answer them and try to reassure yourself. Soon, you run out of questions and time. The time comes when it is time for you to enter the examination room. Your heart is beating a mixture of excitement and apprehesion. The door opens, you greet the examiner and get a greeting that is friendly, but not very reassuring.
The exam passes as blur in your head. You answer each question and play your pieces, scales, and arppegios mechanically. Finally, you are free to exit the room. The moment you pass the door, a wave of mixed reactions hit you. You feel relieved that you have finished the exam, you feel satisfied that you have done your best, BUT, you feel nervous. The nervousness comes from wondering if you did well enough. Sure, you did your best, but was it good enough?? This question irks you for the first few minutes. But, your results arrive only in three to four months. Over the next few hours, your trepidation is replaced by overwhelming relief and joy. Your face is a picture of contentment. The exam is OVER

Easter
WOW... Easter... this is one word that means a lot but is usually taken for granted or distorted to symbolise eggs, or worse, bunnies.
Have you ever wondered, is there more to easter than great church plays or stirring speakers??
Have you ever wondered, Jesus DIED a PAINFUL death for ME??
Have you wondered, am I still so precious to God after all I have done that he sent Jesus to die??
Often,as Christians, Good Friday and Easter have both become rituals that have numbed us to the actual meaning of Christ's sacrifice. It is important NOT to let these two dates just become just days in our calendar that we can forget. Without the true meaning of these days, the entire basis of our faith is nullified.

Blogs and Bloggers that I REALLY admire
These blogs belong to my cousins from my maternal side. My cousins are people TOTALLY sold out for God. These are my heroes when it comes to being outspoken, bold, and honest about their walk with Christ.
Here are their addresses:
Esther Wee: http://simplysther.blogspot.com/
Daphne wee: http://weedaphne.blogspot.com/
BTW, Esther and Daphne are both sisters.

After a long while...
My dad FINALLY bought the Nikkor 18-200 VR2 lens..... For those of you who are in the camera world, this lens ROCKS... The range is really handy as it mixes the two most usable lens in the world, the 18-55 wide angle and 55-200 zoom.
For all you non-camera people, this is the explanation:
Nikkor= Brand of lenses by Nikon (original, BTW)
18-200= The range of the zoom... This tells you that this lens is a mixture of the standard 18-55 and 55-200 lens.
VR2= Vibration reduction 2 (what else?)
This is exactly what is sounds like. Anti-shake. The 2 stands for second-generation... Need I be any clearer??
Anyway, I was like, WOW!! When dad showed me the lens. The design really fits into the palm of your hand....
WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW...

Parental watchfulness in the technological age...
Yes, you heard it... Parents are now resorting to online spying on their teens... Believe me, I'm a victim of this atrocity....
Well, not really. But, my mum does come to my blog to read... As a matter of fact, her blog is linked to mine (http://meltingmoments-homemadedelights.blogspot.com/) . She has probably read this already. I'm on her favourite reading list.... So, well, to all teens, please be careful about your comments... LOL
